just A quick announcement concerning the safety guidelines we have been following as a church. We appreciate all your help in doing your part to keep everyone safe until now. Maybe you have heard about the recent spike in COVID cases across Utah and the surrounding states. Because of this, we think it would be wise and safer for everyone to take some extra precautions. We are asking, for the next few weeks, that everyone wear a mask during our service. I know this can be burdensome but it is not just for your safety but the safety of others. Also, please continue to follow the other guidelines that are in place; no handshaking, hugging, practice social distancing, and if you have had any contact with someone with COVID, been in contact with someone who visited from a high risk area, or you are showing any symptoms, please do not attend. We are grateful for your patience through this unpredictable time and if you have any further questions please let me know.
Re-Opening Announcement
We are excited to announce that we are re-opened. I’m sorry to tell you we will not be able to get completely back to normal just yet but we will be back to normal soon. Our goal is to slowly reopen while still practicing safety, sanitation, and social distancing. To do this we will need everyone’s cooperation and participation.
We will be seating families and individuals in their own rows and stagger them six feet apart.
We will need you to follow the instructions of our ushers who will have face masks and gloves for your safety. They may ask you questions about your health in order to keep everyone safe.
Please come early for health screening and to make sure you are seated properly.
Please use both bathrooms to avoid congregating or overcrowding.
There will not be nursery or children’s services provided at this time.
We ask you to use the provided hand sanitizer and wash your hands often. We also highly recommend wearing a face mask.
If you feel sick or show any symptoms of illness please stay home and watch online. If you have recently visited or have had family visit from an area highly affected by COVID-19 please do not attend for two weeks.
We will not be greeting one another by shaking hands or hugging at this time. Please try to remain at a safe distance and do not congregate. We will need to leave immediately after the service.
After every service we will be sanitizing our building for your protection.
We believe with these measures in place we can safely congregate and slowly get back to normal. Again, these measures will be temporary and lifted as soon as possible. This is a big step in the right direction and we are excited to be able to worship together. Please be patient with us through this time. Thank you.
